When did you start working at Ironworkers USA Credit Union?
August 2021
Why did you want to work at Ironworkers USA Credit Union?
After I interviewed with Teri, our CEO, I knew this was where I belonged. She talked about how a lot of the members are like family to her, and the rest of the team. I was looking for a place to work where I could share the same passion and love for my job, and be able to help the members with care and compassion. It really is a big happy family!
Tell us a little about yourself.
I love to garden and cook huge meals… even though there are only the two of us at home 😅. I’m originally from sunny California and moved here in 2012. Anything that the outdoors has to offer me, I take full advantage of.
What do you like to do in your free time?
Anyone who knows me will tell you that all I do is listen to my true crime podcasts and shows.
Where is your favorite place to vacation or travel?
California! My son lives there, and the rest of my family. Being around family is the most important thing to me. Also, Vegas Baby! who doesn’t love Vegas!?!?! It is warm, it is exciting, and I think I am getting pretty good at my poker face.
What is special about the Credit Union?
Ironworkers USA Credit Union is like no other. We need to do a commercial with Gronkowski because everyone would want to be a member if they could! Besides all of the perks that come with being a member, they are treated like family. Their needs come first. The team here truly takes the time to listen to our members’ needs and wants the very best for them.
If you could choose one song to play every time you walked into a room, what would you choose and why?
“California Love” by Tupac Shakur. It is just a feel-good song, every time I hear it reminds me of warm weather, friends, and family.
If you could have any superhero power, what would it be and why?
My superpower would be to have all the laundry and chores done in the house with a snap of a finger. Laundry laser pointer finger maybe?
