When did you start working at Ironworkers USA Credit Union?
In November 2020.
Why did you want to work at Ironworkers USA Credit Union?
I have known Teri for over 22 years. She trained me in my first credit union job. I have watched her grow and become the most amazing CEO and credit union advocate over these many years. Her devotion to Ironworkers USA Credit Union, her inspiration to offer customer care the “right way,” and the innovation she brings to grow this credit union is unparalleled to any leader I have ever encountered.
To join this team, and follow Teri’s lead in helping ironworkers and their families, is the opportunity of a lifetime. I wanted to work here and work at a credit union that’s primary focus is its members and offering exemplary customer service. I leaped at her invitation to join her amazing team!
Tell us a little about yourself. (Interests, funny stories, hobbies)
I have two grown children. They are my favorite humans. They are good, kind people. They both have master’s degrees and have happy lives.
Funny Story: I married their father on my lunch hour and went back to work.
What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, a good book, and cooking.
Where is your favorite place to vacation or travel?
Anywhere with water. I love the beach or a lake and warm places too!
What is special about the Credit Union?
My work family. We truly all get along and care about each other. We support each other and love each other. We laugh together and always have each other’s back!
If you could choose one song to play every time you walked into a room, what would you choose and why?
“Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” by Diana Ross because all the lyrics are true to my life!
If you could have any superhero power, what would it be and why?
I would not want that responsibility at all – too stressful!
Thanks, Kelly for being such an amazing part of this team! We can’t do it without you!
