When did you start working at Ironworkers USA Credit Union?
April 2023.
Why did you want to work at Ironworkers USA Credit Union?
I was looking for a change. Having been in the credit and collections industry for over 24 years and at my previous employer for over 18 years, I was eager to apply my skills in another environment. I knew after meeting with Jaimie and Teri that this is where I wanted to be!
Tell us a little about yourself. (Interests, funny stories, hobbies)
I’m married with four children, one headed to college! My amazingly handsome husband and I purchased our “probably” forever home in Woodland, WA back in 2015 and we have made the best friends and memories there. I love spending time with my family and closest friends, cooking, playing outdoors, and having dance parties in the kitchen!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I love my downtime, but also am super big on traveling with my family and close friends, who are now family. We’ve been on so many adventures from southern Oregon to Yellowstone, Florida, and several of the Hawaiian islands as well as Germany, London and Paris.
Where is your favorite place to vacation or travel?
I’m LOVING Hawaii right now at my age. I plan to visit every island, but basically I want to be anywhere my family is or wants to be.
What is special about the Credit Union?
The wonderful ladies that work here. They are hard-working and genuinely care about each other and our members. Also, the ability to really help people get through their financial struggles. It’s not easy when confronted with hardships and knowing that Ironworkers USA Credit Union has so many options to help our members in a time of need is so wonderful and truly rewarding to be a part of. I don’t know why I didn’t come to work here long ago!
If you could choose one song to play every time you walked into a room, what would you choose and why?
See “dance parties in the kitchen” above LOL. I cannot be limited to just one song….music is a vibe and it depends on my mood. I could be walking into a little Johnny Cash “A Boy Named Sue,” or maybe a little 2Pac, or it could be a punk vibe with some Rancid. I could chill out with Sublime or I could be grooving to The Roots & Chris Stapleton and then boogying to some James Brown. It’s always a party!
Thanks, Elisha for being such an amazing part of this team! We can’t do it without you!
