For Jessica and Thomas, ironwork means long days and travel across the country. With Alabama as their home base, they’re currently in Columbus, Mississippi, and rely on Ironworkers USA Federal Credit Union to keep their finances steady.
“We first learned about the credit union when my husband joined the union,” Jessica says. “We opened an account, and it just ballooned from there.”
What began with one account now includes checking, savings, vehicle loans, a motorcycle loan, camper loan, and credit card. “Everything we own is financed through Ironworkers,” Jessica says.
Jessica says traditional banks never fit their lifestyle. “The services the credit union offers just work better for us and our lifestyle, it makes life simpler,” she says. “Other local banks or credit unions just don’t offer what Ironworkers USA Federal Credit Union does.”
She credits staff for making the difference. “My favorite part about being a member is the dependability we get from them. I can always count on getting what I need… They’ve been a godsend for us,” Jessica says. “Even when my husband had to file for bankruptcy, we were still able to finance a vehicle with ease.”
Jessica’s credit score has climbed from the low 500s to the high 700s with their help, and her son recently financed his first truck through the credit union. “They make our lives so much easier. I never stress or worry about anything with the bank.”
