Helping Ironworkers Take the First Step to Improve Credit
Like many of us, Jose has struggled with managing finances and needed some help to get things back on track. “Honestly, I have made some pretty bad financial decisions in the past,” he said. “My credit has been beat up for quite some time now.” Unsure where to begin, he turned to Ironworkers USA Credit Union for support.
He said the credit union has been “extremely helpful” in guiding him through the process of rebuilding his credit. What made the biggest impact was their personal approach. “Just by being able to sit down with somebody who doesn’t make you feel like a number, but like an actual human being, and they want to help you,” he explained, made all the difference.
With the credit union’s support, Jose developed a clear list and a plan focused on improving his credit score. Breaking the process into manageable steps has helped him stay motivated. “I’m actually able to tackle things from little victories to bigger ones,” he said. “I’m already working on it right now, and it’s slowly improving.”
He knows the process takes time, but he’s encouraged by the progress he’s seeing. “It is a marathon,” he said, and he’s committed to continuing the journey.
